West Texas Food Bank

Hurricane Harvey Relief

West Texans have really stepped up to provide relief for our brothers and sisters on the Texas Coast. Harvey left an unprecedented six food banks offline following the storm. The West Texas Food Bank jumped into action to make sure the needs of our sister food banks were met. As of September 7, 2017, the West Texas Food Bank has sent six semi-trailer loads to the impact area, close to 200,000 pounds of supplies and food.

Working in partnership with Feeding Texas and the Emergency Outreach Center (EOC), the West Texas Food Bank is positioned to know what the impact areas need, when they need it, and how to access these areas.

Below is our official list of food and supply needs in the Harvey impact area.

The West Texas Food Bank will continue to accept donations of items and funds for Hurricane Harvey relief until the need is met. The recovery will be a marathon, not a sprint. Thank you for all your support.
