Kids Cafe provides nutritious evening meals at after-school programs to children who participate in their school’s free or reduced-price lunch programs, but may otherwise not receive a third meal at home. Kids Cafe is the most expansive child feeding program in the nation, thanks to the work of Feeding America. The WTFB currently has three Kids Cafe sites and prepares about 66,000 meals per year, with 51,000 of those meals served during the school year and 15,000 meals served during the summer in concert with the efforts of the Boys and Girls Club.
