WTFB Welcomes Five New Members to Advisory Council March 7, 2008
Five new members are appointed to Food Bank’s Advisory Council. Formed in 2006, the council meets monthly to advise the WTFB’s Board of Directors about El Paso’s needs in regards to hunger. The advisory council’s 13 members represent the business community, banking industry, and nonprofit organizations to represent all areas within the Food Bank’s mission. The new members on the council are:

Ruben Vogt, Policy & Programs Coordinator, El Paso County
Ken Walters, Executive Vice President, El Paso Employees Federal Credit Union

The West Texas Food Bank alleviates hunger by distributing food and groceries through a network of community and faith-based nonprofit organizations while increasing community awareness on issues of hunger.
