EL PASO- Local news stations across El Paso are coming together for one cause- The West Texas Food Bank.

Head out to Cohen Stadium this weekend to see your favorite anchors, sportscasters, and more compete in a softball tournament. The event is open to the public and the cost of entry is low- just a can of food. Concession stands will be available.

Schedule:
Saturday, August 20
9:30am – KVIA vs El Paso Times
11:15 – Parks & Rec vs KFOX
12:30pm – Championship game for Saturday’s Matchup

Sunday, August 21
9:30am – Telemundo vs Time Warner Cable
11:15am – KTSM/KDBC vs Univision
12:30pm – Championship Game for Sunday’s Matchup
1:45pm – Champion of Saturday vs Champion of Sunday

The West Texas Food bank was established by a small group of local concerned citizens in 1985 to address the critical issue of hunger in the West Texas area by securing donations of surplus foods and grocery products for distribution through a network of charitable organizations dedicated to feeding the hungry covering 45,000 square miles in 22 West Texas Counties.
