Community Kitchen

The BHP Community Kitchen is a 1,000 square foot kitchen in our Odessa location that will be used to prepare meals for the Kids Café Program, Summer Feeding Program, and the Brown Bag Meal Program. Last year, WTFB distributed an astounding five million pounds of food, which added up to 4.1 million nutritious meals for children, families, and seniors. We primarily distribute food through our Partner Agencies and Mobile Food Pantry, which allows us to efficiently distribute food to our community. Learn More

Approximately 16 percent of our clients are seniors, and 20 percent of households include a grandparent who is responsible for a live-in grandchild. WTFB is developing a hunger-relief program to provide seniors with nutritious food they can prepare and eat at home. Learn More

SNAP Outreach

SNAP Outreach

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), replaced food stamps as one of the nation’s most important defenses against hunger. WTFB has a SNAP Outreach program to help increase SNAP enrollment by providing application assistance and program education. Learn More
